Reusable Breast Pads - Retro

Our Reusable Breast Pads are thoughtfully designed with three layers, each chosen for your comfort and practicality. The first layer, composed of soft bamboo, rests against your skin. This is followed by a layer of microfiber for effective absorption. Finally, a waterproof and breathable PUL layer is on top to prevent any unwelcome leaks.

The bamboo layer is particularly valuable as it efficiently wicks moisture away from your skin, ensuring it stays dry. Bamboo's breathable and antibacterial properties also help minimize the risk of infections, including mastitis, as well as soothe and heal any skin damage.

Our breast pads are designed for maximum comfort and a perfect fit within your bra. Measuring approximately 12cm in diameter, they cater to most cup sizes. It is important to ensure that your Breast Pads provide adequate coverage for your nipple.

A bonus mesh wash bag is included with all Breast Pad purchases (subject to availability).

Using our reusable Breast Pads is a breeze. Simply place them inside your bra with the bamboo layer touching your skin, and you're ready to go about your day.

For hygiene purposes, it's advised to change your breast pads when they become moist. If needing to change them while you're out, simply store your used breast pads in one of our Mini Wet Bags until you return home.

For nighttime use, we recommend our Nighttime Breast Pads. These pads will provide extra absorbency, ensuring protection throughout the night. It's essential to note that changing your breast pads once they become moist is recommended, so we suggest changing them if feeding during the night.

Everybody's breast feeding journey is unique however it is common for breastfeeding mums to experience milk leakage during feeding (from the other breast), in between feeds, and at night.

You won't know your flow rate until baby is earth side however to be prepared, we suggest having 3-5 sets of reusable breast pads prior to giving birth and adding to your stash as needed.

Ensure the longevity of your reusable breast pads with these 3 simple steps.

1. Rinse under the tap after use

2. Machine wash with similar items every 1-2 days (towels, baby clothes etc)

3. Line dry in the sun.

Sunlight serves as a natural disinfectant and stain remover. We recommend washing your breast pads in cold water, but if you prefer to use warm water, please ensure that the temperature does not exceed 40 degrees Celsius.
