That’s why we focus on products that balance comfort, absorbency, durability and ease of use. Without making cloth feel complicated.
Our reusable range is designed in Australia with everyday families in mind, from our one-size cloth nappies that grow with your baby through to reusable wipes, wet bags, breast pads and menstrual products.

Designed to be used again & again
We believe one of the simplest ways to reduce waste is to get more use from the things we already own.
Our products are designed with repeated use in mind. We focus on practical construction, reliable performance and materials suited to the job they’re designed to do.
Many of our cloth nappies can also be passed on to younger siblings or another family once your own cloth journey is finished, helping extend their useful life even further.
Materials chosen with purpose
Every material in a reusable product has a job to do.
We select materials based on the comfort, absorbency, waterproofing, durability and performance required for each product.
Across our range you’ll find materials such as soft bamboo fabrics, absorbent bamboo and microfibre combinations, waterproof PUL outers and other fabrics selected specifically for their intended use.
We believe it’s more important to be clear about what our products are made from than to make broad claims about them.
As our products continue to evolve, we’ll keep reviewing our materials, construction and manufacturing choices and looking for ways to make them even better.
Thoughtfully made
My Little Gumnut products are designed in Australia and manufactured by experienced manufacturing partners overseas.
We work directly with our manufacturers throughout the design and production process, from choosing materials and refining samples through to developing new products and improving existing ones.
Rather than producing something once and leaving it unchanged, we listen closely to the families using our products and take that feedback into future designs.
Our Cloth Nappy 2.0 is a perfect example. Developed to improve fit, absorbency and everyday usability based on what families actually need from their nappies.
For us, thoughtful manufacturing means maintaining strong supplier relationships and continually asking how we can make the next version even better.
Less single-use, at your own pace
Disposable nappies, wipes, breast pads and period products are designed to be used once and thrown away.
Reusable alternatives can be washed and used over and over again.
That doesn’t mean you need to replace every disposable product in your home overnight.
Start with one.
Use cloth during the day but disposables overnight. Keep reusable wipes at home but use disposables while you’re out. Try a few cloth nappies before deciding whether you want more.
There is no all-or-nothing rule here.
Every time a reusable product replaces a single-use one, that’s one less disposable item you needed that day.
Packaging with less waste
What your order arrives in matters too.
We use compostable mailers and shipping labels when sending your My Little Gumnut orders, helping reduce our reliance on conventional plastic shipping packaging.
We also continually review how our products are packed and sent so we can reduce unnecessary packaging while still making sure everything arrives protected and ready to use.
Small details matter when they’re repeated across thousands of parcels.
Helping products live longer
The most sustainable product is often the one that doesn’t need replacing.
That’s why caring for your reusable products properly matters.
We provide practical washing, fitting and care information to help families get the best performance and longest practical life from their products.
And when your family no longer needs them?
Where they’re still in suitable condition, we love seeing reusable nappies and accessories passed between siblings, given to friends or another family, or sold through local reusable-nappy communities.
A nappy doesn’t have to stop being useful just because your baby has grown out of it.
Support is part of sustainability too
Buying cloth is the easy part.
Feeling confident enough to keep using it is what really matters.
Leaks, fit questions, washing confusion and changing absorbency needs can make cloth feel harder than it needs to be, especially when you’re already navigating everything else that comes with raising a little person.
