Postpartum Cloth Pads - multi packages

Our Postpartum Pads have been specifically designed to offer you comfort when and where you need it most.

Most women will bleed for approx. 10 days after giving birth, however some women may experience spot bleeding for up to 6 weeks. Sanitary pads can only be used during this time as tampons may cause infection.

Our Postpartum Pads are designed to offer you comfort and confidence during this special time. They feature an ultra-soft bamboo charcoal layer which sits against your skin, providing dryness. With four layers of microfiber for maximum absorbency, and a top layer made of waterproof PUL material to prevent leaks, you can trust these pads to protect you when you need it. Each pad is 33cm long.

These pads are suitable for day and night use.

To use our Postpartum Pads, simply place the pad on your underwear and secure it with the snaps to prevent shifting. We recommend changing your pads every 3-4 hours during the day.

If you're on the go and need to change, fold your used pad in thirds, with the colourful material facing outwards and secure with the snaps. Store the used pad in one of our Mini Wet Bags until you return home.

Ensure the longevity of your reusable menstrual pads with these 4 simple steps:

1. Rinse until the water runs clear

2. Store in a Wet Bag until ready to wash

3. Machine wash with reduced detergent, either separately, with clothes or with similar items (i.e nappies)

4. Line dry in the sun.

The sun will act as a natural disinfectant and stain remover. Cold water only is recommended for washing your cloth pads as hot water can set bloodstains in fabric.

As with our nappies, minimal detergent is recommend as too much detergent can clog the fabrics, making them less
absorbent. We recommend using a powder detergent rather than a liquid detergent.

Everybody's postpartum bleeding experience is unique which will impact the amount of pads required.

However, we suggest starting with 6-10 postpartum pads and building on your stash if required.

After postpartum bleeding has ceased and your usual cycle has returned, these pads can be used for nighttime use.
